I am a keen learner, but I am very lazy when it comes to doing technical stuff. I have relied a lot on friends to do it for me so far…. And when pushed against the wall, I really took it upon myself to do it on my own and walk the untreaded paths .
In the past 24 hours I have managed to
download a 700mb file (never dared to do that before)
download flashget to download that 700 mb file (never knew you can download a software to facilitate the download of files!!)
format a PC
prepare bootable floopy disk and cd
tried to install Windows
tried to install Linux, even when I havent ever worked on that platform
used DOS after ages and worked on it (those commands seem so irritating now after the windows GUI)
request a password change with godaddy
Phew ! Thats really too much for me.
Revelations to me:
My connection isnt too bad.. I am actually getting the speed I was promised. I know its still not the best, but now I am atleast content that I am getting what I was told. (downloaded 700 mb in 7 hours 
)

Flashget is a decent software and convenient to use
Iso files are saved as images
You can boot your computer on Linux through a CD
Ubuntu has a cute colourful logo
You have an access to your sql databases in godaddy

Must say, there are very few, or rather rare, of the male species on this earth who are encouraging enough and then daring enough to see you sail through your technical endeavours, given your technical handicap which comes as a complimentary gift on being a woman.

An Indian discovered that nobody can create a FOLDER anywhere on the computer which can be named as “CON”. This is something pretty cool…and unbelievable. .. At Microsoft the whole Team, couldn’t answer why this happened!

For those of you using Windows, do the following:
1. Open an empty notepad file
2. Type “Bush hid the facts” (without the quotes)
3. Save it as whatever you want.
4. Close it, and re-open it.
Is it just a really weird bug?
