Owing to technically-challenged skills of this friend of mine, this site is finally up, albeit slightly later than expected.
… cheers !!
Articles like these actually burn my desire to get a laptop for myself.
No its not a recruitment advertisement on their behalf. Its something that I really feel they need to work upon.
I just happenned to be watching their news channel this afternoon, and the female news reporter didnt quite use her common sense and said
“This is the view of AIIMS hospital from where Rahul Mahajan will be discharged any moment now. Apollo doctors have cleared his discharge papers and have handed him over to the police”.
Petrol prices have been hiked once again !!
When I started driving in 2000 the petrol rate was Rs. 27 per litre. And today its Rs. 47 per litre.
Increase of Rs.20 in six years. Now that shouldnt be so disturbing. But it is, given the distance we travel everyday, commuting to and fro from our homes to our workplace and back. Infact even small trips to mall, markets and our neighbourhood restraunts were not an issue.
But one thing I do know for sure is that now the liesurely drive in monsoon is going to pinch too hard on our pockets!!
I simply love this advertisement and the concept therein.
I read somewhere that this song has run into troubled waters in some village where its been rumoured that Himesh’s voice in this song is capable of invoking ghosts. Now thats what I call making an impact !!
I am not one of her ardent fans, but I dont mind accepting the fact that she did wonders in the song ‘Kajra re’. Agreed she has been a miss on our bollywood front lately, but then, she finally seems to be making waves in the west.
I have already read great reviews about the movie Provoked, where she plays a role of a battered house wife sans make-up for the first time. The movie has been shown several times at Cannes this year and is expected to release in India around September. I hope its not as disappointing as Bride and Prejudice.
Caught kissing? No problems. Blame it on custom.
In certain cultures not kissing twice is considered rude. And Spain is one such place. And this was the defence used by David Beckham when he was caught kissing a girl in Spain, that he was just trying to avoid being rude to the woman by following the custom of kissing on both cheeks.
Did someone ask him to kiss her in the first place?
Ahem ahem !!
So now you can turn back the biological clock without having to go under the knife. Gone are the days of cosmetic surgery, now dental specialists have made their way to restore youth. Special braces called Oralift, claim to stretch the skin across the face and thereby helping in smoothening out wrinkles.
Whoever said braces make your smile look ugly, will be soon reconsidering his opinion.
Allright, so our government decided to let the movie get released a week after its worldwide premiere with an ‘A’ rating and a disclaimer in the beginning and at the end of the movie. Why twice??? Making sure that people read it?? Whats the need I guess the publicity has very well ensured that we all know what it is.
Its a work of fiction, and I dont get it why people were protesting against its release and appealing for a ban. We Indians simply love to stir a controversy. Keep looking for something new to keep the public and media busy.
