Bored Beyond Belief !!

A worldwide survey was conducted by the UN. The only question asked was:

“Would you please give your honest opinion about solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the world?”

The survey was a huge failure. In Africa they didn’t know what ‘food’ meant, In India they didn’t know what ‘honest’ meant, In Europe they didn’t know what ’shortage’ meant, In China they didn’t know what ‘opinion’ meant, In the Middle East they didn’t know what ’solution’ meant, In South America they didn’t know what ‘please’ meant, And in the USA they didn’t know what ‘the rest of the world’ meant!

There is no one way by which you can explain and interpret human behaviour. Infact its impossible to claim to have understood and known someone completely. Just when you think you know someone, an all together new facet is revealed to you.

When you label someone as bad, think if thats really so? Or is it just your perception? Are they beyond your reach, or its just the circumstances? And to make matters worse, you are responsible for those circumstances?

Life is short, so break all the rules. Imagine how monotonous it would be if you led it with discipline forever? Come on guys!!

Forgive quickly, Believe slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, you are already running short of time everyday, when else would you find the opportunity to do it? Dont you dare defer it for later.

Most importantly, NEVER regret anything that made you smile. Be it for a year, for a week, a day or even for a moment. Indulge in all your guilty pleasures with no strings of guilt attached.

‘Yeh galat hai’ or ‘humein yeh nahi karna chahiye’ should be thrown out of the window.

Amazing food and amazing ambience. My recommendation-
Veg: Baked Hash and Corn
Non-Veg: Chicken Pot pie and Fussili with chicken and veggies.

Downside.. they dont serve mocktails or breezer.
Imagine the range on the table… coldcofee with icecream, Tom collins to Beer

The trauma is over !!

I am not one of her ardent fans, but I dont mind accepting the fact that she did wonders in the song ‘Kajra re’. Agreed she has been a miss on our bollywood front lately, but then, she finally seems to be making waves in the west.

I have already read great reviews about the movie Provoked, where she plays a role of a battered house wife sans make-up for the first time. The movie has been shown several times at Cannes this year and is expected to release in India around September. I hope its not as disappointing as Bride and Prejudice.

My first attempt at urdu hindi mix poetry.

Log kehte hai humsa khushnaseeb koi kaha hoga
jisse udne ko khule asmaan ki kami tak nahi

Hum kehte hai humsa muzrim kahan dekha hoga
jise apne kiye jurm ka ilm tak nahi

Halaat se samjhauta majboori mein tha kiya
Gaur se dekho, kahi yeh nazariye ka dhoka to nahi

Sza karar sar-ankh kar, uff bhi na humne ek baar kiya
Shikve to kai the par, zubaan par gille ka ek raag tak nahi

Intezaar hai ab us pal ka,
Jab ya kayamat aayegi, ya unke iraade toot jayenge
Waqt hai beshumaar, par yeh sansein be-inteha to nahi
